Pumpkin Pie Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas drained & rinsed
  • 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • tsp cloves
  • tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Assemble your ingredients! Making spice-heavy dishes goes more smoothly when the spices are measured out beforehand!
  • Blend the chickpeas and pumpkin puree in your food processor until smooth. If necessary, add liquid to create the texture you want.
    1 can chickpeas, 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • Add the rest of your ingredients and blend until thoroughly mixed.
    ½ cup brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla bean paste, 1 ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp ginger, ¼ tsp nutmeg, ⅛ tsp cloves, ⅛ tsp pepper
